Citizens for Better Community (CBC), South Bay Chinese Club (SBCC), and 19 other community organizations sponsored the first "One Community One World Summer Concert" at the Fremont Central Park Pavilion on August 30, 2018. This free event is a non-religious, non-political community event which welcomes anyone who wants to foster a harmonious community spirit, to build community partnerships, and to instill and promote a common civic pride. At the end of the two-hour concert, all performers, sponsors, VIPs, and attendees join in to sing this 7-1/2 minute rendition of "We are the World" by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie.
