On Saturday, September 19, 2026, SBCC held its general membership meeting at the Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN) Community Center in 42080 Osgood Rd., Fremont.
Fremont Police Chief, Floyd Mitchell was invited as the guest speaker. Chief Mitchell was appointed on Mrach 9, 2026.
Entertainment was provided by the Hula Group from the Fremont Age Well Center with two of our SBCC members, Lorrie Wong and Colleen Woo, participating. AT the end of their performance, all attendees were invited to join them on the stage to do one hula dance.
SBCC Board member Cecilia Leon introduced Chief Floyd Mitchell at the event.
