SBCC Members participated in the Kids Against Hunger Meal Packing Event

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, 7 SBCC members and 2 youth members participated in an engaging community event through Kids Against Hunger (KAH) Fremont, at Bridges Community Church, helping to pack a total of 32,000 vegetarian rice meals to serve those facing hunger.

Kids Against Hunger Fremont is a non-profit humanitarian organization run entirely by unpaid volunteers.

Their mission is threefold:
(1) Plant the seed of compassion by teaching students about the importance of kindness and empathy.
(2) Love through action by bringing meal packing events into schools, helping students pack thousands of meals, and
(3) Feed the hungry by distributing packaged meals through partnerships with humanitarian organizations.

KAH is one of our designated SBCC 60th Anniversary community service project beneficiaries.
