Make and Take Joong (Jongzi) Wrapping Workshop

Learn to make your own Joong (Jongzi) from scratch and enjoy them at home afterward.

A Cultural Trip to the Chinese American Historical Museum

Join us for a 1 hour guided tour of the museum at Chinese American Historical Museum at the San Jose History Park. There is also an optional 17 minutes film about the San Jose Chinatown.

KTSF-26 featured SBCC in their Business & Lifestyle Program

Ms. Mina Li, host of the KTSF-26 “Business & Lifestyle” program, interviewed Jane Lin and Joe Woo of SBCC to discuss about the Club and its highly successful scholarship program. The interview was conducted in both Cantonese and Mandarin. The video segment was broadcasted on June 28 at 11 pm.

In Memory of Gladys Lee (1935-2024)

It is with a heavy heart that we convey the news of the passing of Gladys Lee on Wednesday, June 26. Gladys was SBCC President in 1990 and a staunch supporter of the SBCSC Scholarship Program. She will be greatly missed.

In Memory of Rose Lee (1930-2024)

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Rose Lee on Thursday, June 27. Rose was a long-time SBCC member who enjoyed many SBCC events with her entire family through the decades. Rose had a close mahjong group that met weekly for more than 30 years. Rose’s legacy was the beauty of life well-lived, the lives she touched, and the love she shared with so many family members and friends.
