2026 SBCSC Scholarship Awards Banquet

Please join us in recognizing the academic achievements and exceptional community service of an elite group of students selected to receive this year’s South Bay Chinese Service Club scholarships.

Cost of Dinner: $60 per adult; $40 per student (24 & under)
*Complimentary dinners for award recipients (students only)

**Major donors receive complimentary dinners and/or discounted dinners at $30 each as follows:

$4000+ 8 comp dinners + up to 2 discounted dinners
$3000+ 6 comp dinners + up to 4 discounted dinners

2026 SBCC Chinese New Year Banquet

On Sunday, March 1, 2026, SBCC members, families, and friends welcomed the Year of the Horse with a 9-course dinner at the Mayflower Restaurant in Milpitas.

We had a new attendance record of 175 this year!

2026 Scholarship and Mentoring Program
Call for Donations

We are now accepting donations for the 2026 Scholarship Program and the Mentoring Program. If you would like to donate, please click on the button below to go to the DONATE page of our website.

You may designate your donations to the “2026 Scholarship Fund” or one of the other scholarship related funds such as the Mentoring Program using the dropdown menu from the donation form online.

One of the new funds we have started in 2026 is the “2026 Mentoring Scholarship Program”. We started this pilot program in 2025 to extend the scholarship program to provide mentoring support to the scholarship award recipients during their first year in college as well as additonal financial support for their second year in college. As with the annual scholarship awards program, the minimum scholarship amount for the Mentoring Program is $1,000 and will be awarded to the students who successfully complete the mentoring program during their freshman year. This mentoring program has limited availability due to finite resources. Only the 2026 scholarship recipients are eligible to apply (after the 2026 Scholarship Awards Banquet).
